Role Summary: The Compliance Training and Communications Leader is responsible for developing and executing GE Healthcare's compliance training and communications program globally. This individual will design and implement a global compliance training and communications strategy and tactical plan that encompasses a range of delivery mechanisms and incorporates adult learning principles and will develop KPIs to monitor training penetration and effectiveness.
Essential Responsibilities: • Strategy and roadmap: Develop and implement a global, multi-faceted compliance training and communications strategy and tactical plan. Execute a global training and communications program that encompasses a range of delivery mechanisms, incorporates adult learning principles, is focused on the elements of an effective compliance program, and is designed to ensure that employees and third parties understand their compliance responsibilities. • Standards: Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement standards regarding compliance training and communications content. • Content development: Develop training content and delivery mechanisms and methods for different audiences and subject matters. Work with key stakeholders to manage projects to build, rebuild and translate training content. Advise and coach members of the legal and compliance function on training materials and presentations. • Deployment: Partner with key stakeholders to identify and implement strategies for deploying training and communications content in a variety of methods designed to maximize effectiveness. Establish processes and procedures for (a) identifying individual training needs; (b) ensuring appropriate personnel are trained; and (c) ensuring that individual training needs and plans are documented and readily available. Support course assignment and completion tracking processes for compliance training courses as needed. • Metrics: Develop KPIs to measure training completion, and communications penetration, and training/communications effectiveness.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree, J.D./Masters degree preferred but not required. • A minimum of five years of professional experience in compliance, law, training program development or related field. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong leadership with experience of supporting a globally distributed team.
• Player/coach who is effective in executing both individual responsibilities and team responsibilities. • Word, Power Point and Excel skills are required. • Professional fluency in English is required. • Foreign language skills a plus.
Desired Characteristics: • Post-graduate degree in adult education/learning or another relevant field. • Previous experience in developing and deploying compliance training content for a large global organization. • Knowledge of key laws/regulations (e.g., FCPA and other global ABAC laws/regulations, AKS/FCA) and/or core GEHC compliance processes, policies/procedures, tools, and controls. • Lean or Six Sigma experience. • Process and detail-oriented, including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Self-motivated with ability to handle a large and varied project load simultaneously, to multitask, and to work independently with minimal supervision. • Highest personal integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet and respectful manner that inspires trust. • Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at various levels of the organization. • Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills, with proven ability to prepare and present complex subject matter in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. • High level of cultural sensitivity, flexibility and emotional intelligence in order to work effectively within a multicultural environment.
