Role Summary: Disbursement Analyst will be responsible for supporting disbursement activities for HEF business. Partner with ITO funding team, GE treasury, , sales representatives, customers and vendors to resolve outstanding items. Work with internal and external auditors to remediate open items and audit observations. Support for the Manager during quarter close and other heavier transaction periods
Essential Responsibilities: • Support daily disbursements activities such as: funding, refunds, balancing, wire returns, positive pay, stale dated checks and ad hoc inquiries. • Monitor daily activity on disbursement accounts. • Audit incoming information to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures • Proactively monitor work queue daily to properly manage transactions in a timely manner • Develop open lines of communication with other departments to reduce processing errors • Ensures that all required documentation accompany requests. Leverage data and metrics to identify and resolve issues with a focus on improving customer service and process productivity
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree and/or Minimum 2 years related experience in financial services, accounts payable. • Ability to build and maintain effective customer/client relationships. • Ability to manage through multiple systems and competing priorities. • Ability to collaborate & negotiate with multiple stakeholders to resolve issues • Experience with Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
