Role Summary: The Employment Brand & Communications Manager will be responsible for the development of contemporary strategies & execution for recruitment, including employer branding & digital presence.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will help GE to maintain a competitive advantage in recruitment by owning the strategy for & designing and developing our owned career platforms, technology and channels, coordinating cross-business collaboration, and executing communications and marketing campaigns that enable GE to identify, select and hire the best talent.
This role is part of the GE Corporate Communications and Marketing Team and will need to be just as connected to the Talent Acquisition teams. This person leads and develops cross-business partnerships to maintain the integrity and consistency of the GE brand in recruiting while better enabling business unit-specific requirements and supporting local and geographical needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in employer branding, leading and influencing teams, ability to build and manage relationships, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategy creation, and operational rigor.
Responsibilities of the role include:
• Develop & implement strategy to increase GE brand recognition with candidates. This includes coordinating regional, business and multichannel recruitment communications planning; university and association planning; developing integrated marketing campaigns which include social media and working with the Global and Business Talent Recruitment teams to identify talent attraction challenges and research/recommend communications and outreach solutions and channels.
• Updating Career related channels, technology and platforms:
o Update messaging, images, videos, and other content on our career websites to keep data and information relevant and up-to-date.
o Develop content strategy and content for select social media channels and manage in close coordination with the business units and functional partners.
o Storytelling and content creation: Engage with internal leaders and employees and empower them to create stories, videos and other aspects to showcase work location, environment, team and role impact in collaboration with the business unit Employment Brand & Communication leaders.
• Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact and reach of recruitment marketing and social media outreach programs and CRM tools. Research and identify the appropriate universal KPIs and ROI metrics for employment brand and communications.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Internal/Employee Communications.
This is a senior-level role that requires connection and influence across multiple businesses. The right candidate should have experience leading, partnering and influencing teams.
Experience leading employment branding and communications on a global scale.
