Essential Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage PMx warranty reserve accounting, ensuring operational reviews are run on time, outcome is accurately reflected in the books and back up documents are stored in structured shared folders
  • Support warranty quarterly pacing, aligning regions and Global Ops on reviews outcome and accounting. Keep accurately updated the various segment trackers
  • Lead QTR Close warranty reserve accounting process; prepare Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliation for Controllership purposes (Account Reconciliation/Flux/…)
  • Monitor regularly Generic Warranty reserve change and work with regions to review reasons, types and impacts; Support Annual Defect Rate review process
  • Perform monthly operational controls and drive corrective actions with Regions around proper management of warranty claims in PMx projects
  • Proactively manage the billing process by providing visibility into billing entitlement and drive additional billing opportunities for the business
  • Partner with PMO team to drive on time billings and reduce past dues
  • Drive process automation around billings reporting and PMO tool
  • Support billing quarterly pacing, aligning regions and PMO on quarterly billing entitlement, keep accurately updated the billing segment trackers
  • Build up solid business contextual knowledge and strong relationship with regional stakeholders to run a stable processes and to accelerate process improvements and to identify automation opportunities
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests coming from regional stakeholders on warranty and billing acceleration
    Qualifications/Requirements:
    • Some experience in Finance
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or work experience
    • Strong US GAAP knowledge
    • SAP ERPs knowledge with regards to project module, FI module, CO module is a must
    • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.
