Role Summary: Provide concierge onboarding support service for new hires joining GE Healthcare.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as main point of contact for new hires from the time they receive their written offer letter until
    their first week on the job
  • Ensure new hire understands and completes necessary paperwork and pre-employment
    screenings
  • Interface with HR Operations as needed from pre-hire through onboarding
  • Provide overview of GE Benefits and compensation plan
  • Prepare and send welcome kits
    Send new hire notifications to required business contacts
  • Complete I-9 for new hires
    Provide on site support for new hire orientation
  • Present to new hires about our time keeping system and answer questions during orientation
  • Work with the hiring manager and help them prepare for welcoming a new employee
  • Ensure employee has required tools on day one, i.e. computer, cell phone, office supplies
  • Connect employee with business orientation/first day details, including assignment of a Buddy
  • Respond to requests quickly while ensuring information provided to new hires is accurate
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Associate's
    degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent combination
    of education and experience
  • Minimum
    of 2 years of Human Resources experience onboarding new employees; for
    current GE employees, will consider 2+ years of customer service
    experience in lieu of
  • Solid
    interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team-based
    environment
  • Demonstrated
    organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Proficiency
    in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)


Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to recognize when to escalate issues
