Role Summary: The Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer will design Bleed Air and Ice Protection Systems. In this role, you will work collaboratively with customers, engineering, suppliers and manufacturing on pneumatic systems. This position will be passionate about leading technologies in state of the art applications.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complete life cycle design activities, including system architecture and design, requirements definition, and validation activities
  • Work with external and internal customers and suppliers to define system architectures and system requirements and component requirements
  • Define analytical modeling requirements to predict and validate the static and dynamic system and component behaviors
  • Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to meet business standards, practices and procedures as well as product / program requirements
  • Act as presenter & reviewer in technical and program reviews
  • Work multi-functionally with all disciplines

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years in systems engineering role

Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in thermal systems and valve applications in Bleed air and ice protection
  • Experience with aircraft and component certification
  • Experience with system failure and safety analyses
  • Experience with fluids/thermodynamics analytical modeling software
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience leading multi-functional teams
