Summary:

OpenEdge, a division of Global Payments is seeking a Partner Management Rep to join our team! The Partner Management Team supports the business development of managed and unmanaged OpenEdge partners alongside Sr. Strategic Partner Managers. Primary responsibilities include managing day to day activities, account questions, and proactive/reactive outreach. The Partner Management Team also works with customer support departments and sales in order to generate new business for the OpenEdge partners.

Job Details:

Managed Partners:

  • Work alongside SPM's and their partners to develop the business relationship. The Partner Management rep will assist the SPM with marketing opportunities, strategic initiatives, campaign launching with tracking, etc.

  • Provide a sound path of escalation for partners trying to work through merchant issues.

  • Work with all departments of the company including, Finance, Underwriting, Customer Care, Dev Services, and Legal to escalate and achieve solutions for Partners and Merchants.

  • Build reports for SPM's and partners to establish goals, opportunities, and to identify trends to improve sales.

  • Travel as needed to Trade Shows and Partner Advisory Board meetings to discuss various issues, products, and features with Partner CEOs, CFOs, and Presidents.

Unmanaged Partners:

  • Provide reactive support to partners that are focused on supporting their current base of users.

  • Provide a sound path of escalation for partners trying to work through merchant issues.

  • Work with all departments of the company including, Finance, Underwriting, Customer Care, Dev Services, and Legal to escalate and achieve solutions for Partners and Merchants.

  • Re-engage partners that have not been active with OpenEdge in order to build the business relationship.

  • Consult and provide training to Partners on rates and integration of new products and services in order to generate new leads.

  • Work with partners on their daily account maintenance, such as: change of ownerships, bank account changes, commission questions, training, etc.

  • Build reports for unmanaged partners interested in getting more information on their current base.

  • Work with Marketing to establish strategies and the launch of campaigns to drive new merchant referrals to maximize potential.

  • Travel as needed to trade shows and sale summits to discuss issues, features, and business development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the areas of sales, marketing, account management, and/or business development

  • Partner development skills and aptitude to plan and drive relationship growth

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Problem solving and Customer service

  • Willingness to travel / attend seminars and meetings

  • MS Office application use, Salesforce, and Google Suite experience
