Both Inc., is a franchisee of Golden Corral with 20 locations in MD, VA and GA and SC. Each of our restaurants employ up to 100 hourly paid employees, generate sales of $3.5 to $7 million dollars and is managed by a Management Team consisting of the General Manager, at least one salaried Kitchen Manager, one salaried Hospitality Manager, and 1 to 2 hourly Assistant Managers.

HOSPITALITY MANAGERS: Responsible for managing and directing the restaurant team, operations, and financial resources in the Front-of-the-House to achieve a profitable operation. Creates and maintains a positive environment that makes pleasurable dining affordable, while providing a dining experience that ensures our guests desire to return again.
KITCHEN MANAGERS: Responsible for controlling food costs by ordering, receiving, storing, and producing all food products, small wares and ensures standards for preventative maintenance on equipment are followed for the Back-of-the-House and production. Manages kitchen operations and maintains food product inventory levels in accordance with Golden Corral guidelines
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit, train and develop talented Co-Workers and ensure that all positions are fully staffed. Perform performance appraisals and disciplinary counseling sessions for Co-Workers. Cross train Co-Workers in positions other than their primary position. Conduct pre-shift meetings with Co-Workers. Are able to step in and provide hands on support and guidance in both FOH and BOH, and successfully manage a high volume restaurant on the General Managers days off.

Our comprehensive 13 week training program takes place in our training restaurants in VA and MD. Manager applicant's must consent to a background check and drug test, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Other Requirements: Hours of work for this position are approximately 55-58 hours per week. Position requires standing and walking for periods of 2-5 hours without a rest break, and task sequencing and the completion of complex administrative responsibilities. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes heavy customer contact, working with cooking equipment and slippery walking surfaces. Position is under minimum levels of day-to-day supervision. Some travel may be required for training and operations meetings.
