
Description
Ensure compliance with company Engineering Assumptions/Culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Mission Vision and Values as well as all Building/Fire/Health Department codes. Maintain building complex as energy efficiency as possible constantly looking for ways to save energy.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as an Utility Engineer or Maintenance in a similar resort atmosphere or commercial property.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, to include painting, plumbing, pools, A/C, programming, etc.
Painting
- Paint walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surface using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. May remove old paint to prepare surface prior to painting.
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers
- Remove fixtures such as doorknobs and switch covers prior to painting
- Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding and wire brushing
- Smooth surface using sandpaper scrapers, brushes, and steel wool
Plumbing
- Replace any part of a toilet or urinal
- Replace faucet washers
- Clean drains and traps
- Replace sink stoppers
- Replace drain piping and add another drain to a line
- Solder copper piping and add in water connections (hot or cold)
- Replace sinks
- Replace toilet flanges
Pools
- Take pool readings
- Add/Adjust chemicals in the pool
- Clean baskets
- Replace multiport values and gaskets
- Adjust pressure and flow rate
- Replace and/or repair pump, filters, heaters
A/C
- Replace filters and belts and restart
Programming
- Televisions
- Door locks
General Maintenance
- Refrigerator and freezer readings
- Light woodwork and painting
- Drywall
- Lock replacement/cutting keys
