Description
Become a team member of Chateau Élan Winery and Resort as we grow to one of the most prestigious and prominent wineries on the east coast. A qualified candidate will have a strong work ethic paired with equal enthusiasm for quality customer service. The position is responsible for daily tours of the winery as well as guided tastings of Chateau Élan wines. The ultimate goal of this position is to provide our guests with an exceptional winery experience.
Qualifications
Must possess exceptional communication and organizational skills
The ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups of people
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Candidates must possess previous customer service experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Tasting Room for opening/closing each business day
- Conduct winery tours and tastings
- Provide a quality guest experience
- Educate guests on the history of Chateau Elan Winery as well as on each of the available wines
- Educate staff on wine knowledge and wine service
- Lead and facilitate in social and educational winery related events
- Continued wine education is encouraged
