*Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time, 40 hour, HR/Benefits Specialist to join its team. Candidates for this role will work a Monday - Friday, Day position. The successful candidate will need to enjoy frequent employee discussions about benefits and tuition incentive programs.
Under the supervision of the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Specialist provides daily benefits-related assistance to employees and the Benefits team in accordance with government regulations, plan documents and Highland's policies and procedures. Primary focus is given to Tuition Assistance administration and benefits invoice payment processing.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2-4 years of previous Human Resources experience preferred.
- License/Certification Required: N/A
- Skills: Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate with all levels of hospital personnel, vendors, new and prospective employees as well as outside agencies. Excel skills preferred.
