Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeing a full-time Rheumatologist to join our group. As part of its commitment to creating one of the most advanced academic hospitals, not only in Texas, but in the nation, Houston Methodist Hospital is in the process of expanding its Section of Rheumatology. Positions are available for clinical faculty who are dedicated to providing cutting edge care for patients with rheumatic diseases. All of our current faculty participate in teaching house officers in HMH's 42 ACGME accredited programs including but not limited to internal medicine, neurology and orthopedics. Academic affiliation with both Weill Cornell and Texas A & M Medical Schools provide other outlets for academic pursuits including a Master's Degree Program in Clinical and Translational Science. Since future plans for the section include the development of a Fellowship program and areas of bench research (taking advantage of HMH Research Institute with its focus on nanotechnology), new faculty will be able to contribute to and shape these evolving focus areas.
