QVC, part of The Qurate Retail Group, has an amazing opportunity for a Manager Messaging Platforms who will be responsible for messaging technologies on premise, in the next Generation Data Center and in the Cloud, providing leadership, coaching and direction to a team of six technology professionals.

You will be primarily US focused with the expectation that direction for messaging technologies are defined and set globally.
You will lead a team responsible for developing and/or supporting shared services and enterprise capabilities – in Azure and on-premises – that will be consumed by the platform teams in delivering their respective run-time environments. Disciplines within this space include MQ, Mulesoft, RabbitMQ, TIBCO, IIB and WBI.
The team also provide support for Containers and Microservices Platforms (DC/OS, Kubernetes, AKS and Tomcat).
Key partners include Integration Platforms (US), EU middleware, Cloud Enablement, DevOps, Digital, Product, Value Streams Apps Dev, Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 6+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
- 2+ years of management experience or demonstrating leadership of others.
- 1+ years working in Agile delivery methodologies (Kanban/Scrum).
- Knowledge or experience with implementing or working in a DevOps culture a plus.
- Understanding of how infrastructure services are created, maintained, and sunset across a large organization.
- Knowledge or experience with Cloud, Hyperconverged and Container technologies a plus
- Key technologies IBM MQ/IIB, Mulesoft, Tibco, WBI/WDI & IBM MQ Azure Cloud
