What does a Lab Technician I do?
Every Technician I performs prep work and basic manufacturing functions, and aides the department with general laboratory maintenance.
Maintains inventory control
Maintains accurate and detailed product and instrument records
Performs lab cleaning and decontamination protocols
Communicates with all levels of peers and management
Adheres to safety regulations, lab SOPs, and contamination controls
Our entry-level scientific lab-based positions are split between our Synthesis, Purification, and Formulation labs. Every lab plays a crucial part in IDT's success. Each lab may have additional position-specific essential functions for their Lab Technician Is such as:
Quantifies and samples oligos for quality control tests.
Loads machines with oligo samples.
Packages final product for shipment
Resuspends tubes and plates
Labels tubes and plates
What do we require?
A High School diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have...
Additional experience or education in the Sciences or a Manufacturing environment.
