We are currently looking for a new Sales manager to join our Sales team and be responsible for the South UK area.

As a potential candidate you are familiar with different molecular techniques like Next Generation Sequencing, CRISPR genome editing and qPCR. On top of that you are a pro in establishing relationships, you have a flexible mindset ánd the drive to turn your experience into a success story at IDT. Of course extensive training on IDT's product portfolio will be provided, but we do expect our candidates to have at least a first experience in a sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the opportunity funnel management in the South of the UK.
  • Proactively search for new potential customers.
  • Research and organize quantitative data and information to implement effective sales strategy.
  • Maintain and further develop business partnerships with major customers, and when applicable with the assistance of customer service to assist with strategic problem
  • Develop knowledge client perspective and communicate importance to customers of Integrated DNA Technologies' products.
  • Communicate with customer support on all customer-related business.
  • Build sales rapport and business acumen with all customers.
  • Prospect new accounts and prepare information for outgoing sales calls to secure new customers.
  • Educate and provide customers with current product sales information.
  • Maintain records and communications with customer base through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
  • Actively participate on product introduction team for new product launches.
  • Participate in training and ongoing staff meetings at Integrated DNA Technologies facility in Leuven, Belgium and/or Coralville, IA, USA or other locations.

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Experience in the Life Science market in UK, preferably in a customer-oriented and/or sales environment, is a big plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in other languages is a plus.
  • This position requires a highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task and to work both individually and in team.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Be able to interact in a professional manner with customers, employees and all levels of management.
  • Travel required
