Position Summary:

Orders supplies, equipment and services, to support quality, cost-effective healthcare in compliance with approved purchasing policies and contracts.

Essential Functions:

* Place and follow-up orders for stock and non-stock supplies, equipment and services in response to customer needs and requests.

* Edits and researches requests for purchase and processes requests which are complete and accurate within three (3) work days for supplies and fourteen (14) days for equipment.

* Obtains quotations and contracts for inventory items and negotiates contracts and price adjustments.


Reports to the Procurement Center Process Leader. Accountable for promoting positive customer and employee relations; accurate and timely placement of purchase orders; supporting the INTEGRIS Health Supply Expense Reduction initiatives.

* Previous purchasing experience in a health care facility is preferred.

* Knowledge of healthcare care products is helpful.
