Staff Accountant $20.00 to $24.00 hr.
Kelly Financial Resources is currently seeking an experienced accounting professional with 3 to 4 yrs experience in balance sheets and general ledger for our global client located in the Hermitage TN area. This is a full time, contract position, beginning 11/30/17 and ending 03/31/2018 (possible extension). Currently 1 new opening for this position.
Our client is head quartered in New York and is a well known and reputable organization that employees over 200,000 employees. The position will report to the Accounting manager and interact with department professionals regarding dues and balance sheet ledgers
Review club dues using Microsoft Outlook box, review club dues, enter items into Sharepoint, route to appropriate team for review and rejection. Submit dues to payroll for payment. Other administrative responsibilities as assigned. Maintain and monitor balance sheet accounts/ general ledger. Analyze, interpret, and report account activity and balances to ensure accuracy. Implement process improvements.

The Staff Accountant Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, specialized reports, analysis or other special projects as assigned.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Generate various financial reports for Management use.
Responsible for invoicing customers and A/R collections.
Reconcile G/L accounts.
Prepare excise and sales tax remittance.
Month end close functions.
Prepare monthly industry reports for management team.
Research and reconcile discrepancies.
Auditing and verifying documents.
Document and implement internal controls
Review and document accounting processes and procedures.
Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
Must have an Accounting degree or minimum of 3 years' experience.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong Computer Skills with direct experience with SAP
Strong Excel knowledge.
Accuracy in daily work and other projects.
Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of Manager.
Ability to maintain good working relationships with managers, colleagues and vendors.
Ability to function as a team player.
Ability to work with individuals of various cultures
