As a customer Service Representative, you provide information and assistance to attendees of small to large corporate events for a variety of clients.
Professional and friendly verbal and written communication are the main requirements.
Client provides training on the tools you will use and access to necessary information as well as an escalation path for questions and scenarios not covered in the documentation. Need to be able to walk someone through clearing cache and cookies, reference FAQ material before skyping a manager and they will need to be very pleasant and patient.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Â· Answering phones in a timely manner with a professional and pleasant demeanor. CSRs are responsible for monitoring their own phone status ('On Queue') to ensure they are able to take the next incoming call.
Â· Responding to emails within your event within 24 hours. This is a team effort and all CSRs must contribute as equally as possible. Contractually obligated to answer emails within one business day.
Â· Responding to live chats if required by the event. *Currently only one client uses chat. CSRs are responsible to ensure they are in `available- mode to receive the next incoming chat.
Â· Voicemail: Appointed CSRs will be responsible for checking and responding to voice mails on their assigned events every work day.

- Flexible with overtime (potential of working Saturdays or after hours to cover inbox)
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- De-Escalation skills
- 1 year past experience in Customer Service and registration
- You will sit in a `clean room-, meaning you cannot bring a single personal item into the room while you are working. Your breaks and lunches will all be outside of that room.
