Description

Kelly is seeking an experienced I&E Technician to join our team, providing critical support in maintaining and operating our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures are followed at all times.
  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot medium and low-voltage power distribution equipment (transformers, switchgear, motors, VFDs, etc.).
  • Maintain and repair digital controls, I/P systems, control valves, flow meters, and pressure/temperature transmitters.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems.
  • Safely and effectively utilize all types of industrial shop and portable tools.
  • Operate rigging equipment, hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
  • Read and interpret instrument electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Complete required written documentation on instrument electrical equipment and systems.
  • Support department and site-wide goals related to safety, reliability, quality, cost control, and environmental compliance.
  • Participate in safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), HAZOPs, and incident investigations.
  • Prepare and maintain records to meet ISO 9001 and plant safety certification standards.
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance operations and complete safe work permits as required.
  • Actively advance your knowledge and skills in instrument electrical competencies.
  • Follow directions and work independently.
  • Be available for overtime, emergency call-ins, and rotating after-hours on-call duty (one week per rotation).
  • Complete all auxiliary duties assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proven record of safe work practices and HSE awareness.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, rotate shifts, and fulfill on-call duty as needed.
