Direct hire opportunity! Now hiring a 2nd shift Machine Maintenance Technician for our premier client in Wood Dale, IL!

Hours: 4pm-2:30am, M-F
Pay: $23-$35/hr
Location: Wood Dale, IL 60191
Position Type: Direct hire

Position Summary: You will be responsible for assistance with various maintenance related tasks within the high speed / high volume cold heading manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of cold heading, thread rolling, and other production and support equipment.
  • Assist with fabrication of parts using mills, lathes, grinders, and other equipment.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with building maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Complete maintenance reports and other documentation
  • Maintain inventory of in-house replacement parts for building, machines, and equipment.
  • Assist with machinery installations and start-up activities.
  • Communicate all problems and other work-related issues with supervisor.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and attendance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to weld and fabricate.
  • Basic understanding of electrical components and circuits.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and maintain records, as required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and understand complex drawings and instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lift to 30 lbs.
