Maintenance Technician – B Shift
Great opportunity to join a manufacturing team with potential for temp-to-hire!

Location: Rochester, NY (Gates area – off Elmgrove Rd, not bus accessible)
Shift: B Shift | Sunday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Mandatory overtime during peak season (now through end of December) may require working Fridays!

Pay: $22–$25/hour | Paid Weekly
Duration: Temporary with potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs


We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a busy manufacturing team. This role focuses on preventative maintenance and repair of printing presses, cutters, bindery equipment, and other machinery, along with basic facility upkeep. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with prior equipment maintenance experience who wants steady work and the opportunity to gain experience in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on presses, finishing equipment, and other manufacturing machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and coordinate solutions with the team
• Conduct basic facility maintenance (electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) as needed
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas, tools, and workspaces
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with production tasks as needed

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in equipment maintenance
• Background in facility systems maintenance preferred
• OSHA and forklift certifications required
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at heights
• Reliable transportation required (site not bus accessible)
