Medical Device Packaging Technician
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour (Contract Role)
Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Device Packaging Technician for a contract position in the PerClot Department at our Kennesaw, GA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing final packaging processes and supporting various manufacturing tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform and lead filling, pouching, and packaging activities in the PerClot DepartmentBioGlue packaging as needed.
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ensure strict compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Maintain individual training for all manufacturing tasks and ensure training compliance for all team members.
- Follow Safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and corporate guidelines.
- Perform processing tasks in line with applicable regulatory and industry guidelines, including FDA, ISO, and MDSAP inspections.
- Ensure dependable performance in terms of accuracy, error rates, and punctuality.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to meet communication and teamwork expectations.
- Operate machinery and equipment, working with Engineering to diagnose and report equipment issues.
- Support a regulated environment and perform activities such as chemical reaction batching and filling powder into the delivery system.
- Handle additional tasks as required by Management.
- GMP experience and lab experience are highly preferred.
- Preference for candidates with experience as surgical techs or those familiar with regulated environments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional science education or related experience preferred.
- GMP experience is a plus.
- Lab experience is a plus.
- Experience with chemical reactions and batching is preferred.
- Preference for candidates with a background in a regulated environment such as surgical tech or similar.
