Description

Negotiates mutually acceptable contractual language with LabCorp clients and vendors while maintaining LabCorp standards. Coordinates with requesting parties, billing, HR, sales, service, pricing, compliance departments and management to ensure successful and timely implementation of such agreements with responsibility for documentation in contraxx database files documenation to support request, required internal approvals and executed documents. Recommends solutions and courses of action based on compete and accurate analysis of all relevant information. Accurately interprets regulations and ensures agreements generated are in compliance with company policies and all Federal, State and local laws. Divisional contracts department is responsible for generating divisional agreements with clients and vendors. Drafts and prepares agreements, client letters, amendments, statement of work, Request for Proposal (RFP) written responses and other agreements as may be required. Works directly with corporate divisional counsel department to interpret regulations and gain approvals for non-standard contract language. Ensures file documentation of requests meet company guidelines as set forth in Corporate Contracts manual. Works with divisional senior management to obtain required approvals and maintain documentation of approvals. Database maintenance. Requirements License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associate's Degree w/3-5 years of experience. 3-5 years as a paralegal or contracting experience
