Supervises the day-to-day functions of the Corporate Accounting Department.
Manage three employees, including hiring, conducting performance reviews, and establishing goals and objectives.
Identify problems, trends and other descriptive or predictive information to determine the business impact. Offer improvements to existing accounting processes.
Structure, prioritize and initiate approved procedures, policies and methods.
Coordinate staff on special projects as assigned.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
Ensure acquisition accounting is recorded accurately including the transition of the close process.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.Requirements
Minimum education/experience: Bachelor's Degree Five -- seven years related experience.
Preferred education/experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Skills: Requires excellent analytical, written and communication skills, as well as a knowledge of general office procedures. Requires excellent PC skills. Integrated software experience or PeopleSoft skills a plus.Shift 1 Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00
