Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN to join their team as the Nursing Education Coordinator. The ideal RN will have a graduate degree, Masters is preferred and at least one year clinical education experience, preferably in an Outpatient setting.
The Nursing Education Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the development of clinical excellence in assigned areas by leading campus/unit based orientation, training, and on-going staff development. Designs, organizes, implements, and evaluates educational programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, initial/ongoing competence, and attainment of standards of care for direct care providers within assigned units. Education programs will be developed, implemented, and evaluated using nursing theory, nursing clinical expertise, standards of practice, and adult education principles. Actively participates and collaborates in multi-disciplinary unit, campus and system wide performance improvement teams to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, staff competence, and standards of care. Serves as the campus specific liaison for the VP of Nursing, CEC, and other system c
ommittees, to support communication and standardization within the campus/system wide.
