About the Opportunity

The Sales & Operations Manager is in charge of a market's hot tub sales performance. They sell hot tubs by understanding the characteristics, features, and benefits of the hot tubs that we sell. The Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for the effective execution of all hot tub sales and customers at his/her retail location, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives related to the locations spas. The Sales & Operations Manager over sees to ensure that all team members are proficient with the right competencies to sell hot tubs.

Responsibilities The Sales & Operations Manager captures leads, follows up on leads, closes sales, and is directly responsible for:
  • Overseeing Hot Tub Specialist execution and performance
  • Hiring , coaching and scheduling of the Hot Tub Specialists
  • Selling at company events such as home shows, tent sales and off-site events
  • Assembling and disassembling home shows, tent sales and off-site events
  • Full ownership of customer care issues and following issues resolution procedure
  • Coordinating, organizing, staffing and scheduling tent events, offsite events and home shows
  • Coordinating hot tub deliveries
  • Maintaining sales leads in the market, and following up on leads in a timely manner to drive shoppers back into the store to close the sale
  • Onsite customer consultation
  • Completing minor hot tub repairs
  • Assisting with major hot tub repairs
  • Hot tub inventory management
  • Closing sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; completing sales contracts; explaining provisions; explaining warranties, services, and financing; collecting payments; following up on delivery
  • Handling high level customer care scenarios calmly and logically with the customer and company in mind for win-win outcomes
  • Creating internal orders for custom spas for purchasing agent
  • Understanding the POS system, contracts and financing options
  • Maintaining a pleasant and professional relationship with vendors & store teams
  • Help execute in-store merchandising of hot tub, point of purchase material and displays
  • Travel as needed to assist with program expansion


Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Three to five years of sales experience, large ticket items preferable
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and qualify their requirements
  • Salesmanship skills- Understand the selling process and customer engagement as it is related to sales
  • Ability to consolidate the sale and walk the customer through every stage of the deal, and close sales
  • Strongly committed to hitting targets and exceeding goals
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Effective time management - Ability to plan and organize your own daily selling activity 
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
