The Emergency Room Technician performs a variety of direct patient care functions under the general supervision of a physician and/or registered nurse. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assist with providing emergent or urgent care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Supports hospital leadership to provide mission-driven care focused on meeting the needs of our patients and community. A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma program or equivalent.# Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA exam through AAMA) and/or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA exam through AMT) or current EMT-B or EMT-P licensure required. Must maintain certification/license as required. #Will be required to complete and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers.
