Manager, Technical Operations, Asia - Singapore

Technical Operations is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to Magnite's publisher partners as well as support demand clients and partner DSPs. The candidate will demonstrate sound knowledge of operational needs; critical thinking to resolve problems, and a self-motivator to gain deeper understanding of how video advertising works.:

  • Provide tech support to publishers and partners 

  • Involved in publisher pitch process, new publisher on-boarding, testing, recommendations around and implementation of supply set-up, on-going troubleshooting, publisher training, proactive recommendations

  • Pass on requirements and recommendations into SSP product team to ensure that the platform remains best in class and meets the needs of our publishers

  • Work alongside demand team to identify and troubleshoot buy-side issues and recommending solutions to all parties involved

  • Be an integral member of the team, who works towards the common goal of helping our publishers to be successful in the programmatic space, and in turn generating maximum revenue for Magnite

  • Collate relevant evidence, insights and data to build comprehensive information for the engineers to work from

  • Provide internal support to the team, identifying processes which can drive efficiency, communicating to stakeholders and putting into effect 

  • Maintain and develop internal tools to help automate tasks and simplify reporting 

  • Ability to articulate and address technical issues, creating solutions and escalating them internally as needed

  • Understanding of ad tech platforms and programmatic operations 

  • Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter able to thrive and multi-task in a start-up environment

  • Understanding of programmatic digital advertising landscape

  • Critical thinking to resolve problems

  • Self-motivator to proactively recognise and address problems

  • Comfortable in meetings and presentations, presenting new platform functionality and asking questions to better understand publisher needs

  • Interact effectively at all levels internally and externally 

  • Contribute positively to the team environment

Key Success Criteria:

Experience Required:

  • Degree qualified

  • 5+ years digital experience in a technical operations capacity

  • Solid grasp of ad-serving/DSP/SSP space

  • Good understanding of industry standards, including OpenRTB, VAST, VPAID

  • Strong customer service

  • Experience with development and BI tools preferred
