Administers occupational therapy treatment in accordance with professional standards as outlined by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. Provides patient treatment according to established standards of practice and under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. Accurately documents all treatments, communication, and orders on a daily basis. Consistently reports any changes in the patients condition to the OT/RN/MD as indicated. Consults with patients family, physician, nursing staff in development of treatment plan. Advises the occupational therapist of patients' status and need to update POC as needed. Works well as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Experience: 1 year experience preferred, graduates of an accredited AOTA Occupational Therapy Assistant Program are encouraged to apply.
Licenses/Certificates: Licensed in the State of South Carolina. Basic Life Support.
