Overview
Dynamic Yield under Services Org is looking for Tech Lead in Software Engineering to to join and help build our Frontend Infrastructure & Developer Experience team.
Role
In this pivotal role, you will shape the technical direction of our frontend ecosystem, establishing standards, building scalable infrastructure, and enabling product teams to move fast while maintaining high-quality, maintainable, and consistent code.
You'll leverage your expertise to lead initiatives around developer tooling, testing, architecture, documentation, and design systems — all to elevate the developer experience and product quality company-wide.

All about you:

• Frontend mastery: Deep expertise in frontend development with React, TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, and modern build tools.
• Infrastructure mindset: Proven experience setting up and maintaining frontend infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, linting & formatting tools, testing frameworks, and Storybook.
• Architecture & scalability: Experience designing scalable architectures such as micro-frontends and managing global state across large applications.
• Quality-first mindset: Strong advocate of testing (unit, integration, E2E), accessibility, and clean, maintainable code.
• Collaboration & communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders across disciplines.
• Innovation & curiosity: A passion for exploring new technologies (like AI) and continuously improving processes and tools.

Education: BS Degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education.

Knowledge / Experience:
• Experience: At least 5–7 years of frontend engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior IC role.
• Strong expertise in modern frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React or similar.
• Proven experience mentoring and guiding engineers, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Passion for continuous learning, staying current with emerging technologies, and driving innovation.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to build consensus and alignment across functions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
