Senior Asset Management AnalystJob Profile Summary – Sr Analyst (TPM), IT Asset Management

Job Overview: Serve in a lead role performing strategic, tactical, and technical tasks in support of life cycle management for information technology (IT) assets. This includes performing tasks to ensure timely and accurate updates to our systems of record, promoting good corporate citizenship regarding asset use, and providing ongoing relevant subject matter expertise to Mastercard. Individuals in this position should work relatively independently, yet in conjunction with directional guidance and direction of the ITAM and ITSM program leaders.

Major Accountabilities:
•Perform Single Point of Contact (SPOC) function for related ITAM tools and processes.
•Enter and track assets in appropriate systems of record.
•Manage governance model for software approval, recording and maintenance.
•Create and maintain approved list of software within system of record.
•Maintain search and solution capability for end users to access the software that they need.
•Manage assigned projects (project planning, issues management, status reporting).
•Serve as a technical resource to the department and to BizOps as requested, participating in the research and evaluation of new technology.
•Maintain and enforce defined processes and policies.
•Support selected tools, such as Remedy, Flexera and Technopedia/Data Platform.
•Manage and maintain process for scanning for unapproved software.
•Create and maintain governance model and SLA's for software approval lifecycle.
•Communicate effectively with all departments/individuals directly and indirectly impacted by IT Asset Management to achieve/exceed defined service levels and agreed upon expectations. Examples: requestor, Finance, Legal, Sourcing, O&T, EDE, and Enterprise Architecture.
•Ability to work through and influence others to achieve success.

Education:
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent related experience.

Knowledge / Experience:
•Advanced knowledge in IT asset management methodologies, including, but not limited to asset lifecycle (asset receipt, deployment, retirement, disposal, and reuse), contract management (ELA, SLAs, points/value unit tracking), finance, software metering (usage), software compliance, and project management.
•Strong knowledge of Technology (general IT)

•Flexibility in work schedule
•Some travel may be required
