We are currently seeking a Building Energy Analyst to join our team as a member of our growing Technical Services division. McKinstry has a unique perspective on the life of a building, and our Technical Services suite of owner-direct offerings helps our clients make good decisions that will improve the efficiency, comfort, and lifespan of the building.
In this position, you will analyze and drive energy performance within the built environment. This includes benchmarking, weather regression, and other forms of savings tracking. You will have the opportunity to communicate and collaborate internally between the project team and other departments. You will also assist with audits of customer facilities to ensure operating efficiency, optimum air quality, and implementation of efficiency initiatives.

What we would like to see from you:
- BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or equivalent field of study or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficiency in interpersonal verbal and written communication (especially technical writing) required.
- Some data analysis or database work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Construction management, energy calculations, and industry-standard efficiency improvement measures preferred.
- Experience in BAS controls systems preferred.
