The L&SE PPC Supervisor is responsible for providing pricing and proposal support, program planning and control, manpower planning and contract management support to the L&SE Program Office. The L&SE Supervisor plays a key role within the Division ensuring that: (a) there is an orderly transition of projects (WPD's) between the front end (proposal) and backend (program planning and execution), (b) claims for work performed are submitted to the customer on a timely basis and (c) payment is received within a 30 day window. The role also has departmental and personnel management responsibilities. Responsibility for the supervision of skilled resources and managing their training and skills development, including career development, ensuring alignment with individual, departmental and corporate objectives. Coach direct reports in setting personal achievement goals, supporting relevant learning and development and performance management. Foster the elements essential to a safe and healthy workplace; promote and support safe and healthy workplace programs and practices; ensure employees are employing safe work methods. Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure that own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.

Responsible for supervision, training and skills development of staff, including career development, ensuring alignment with individual and departmental objectives. Prepare, approve and maintain department specific processes and work instructions, ensuring compliance to Corporate and Division policies and standards.

Program Responsibilities:

Support costing and pricing process in accordance with Corporate and Division policy and ensuring approvals as per the Signing Authority Matrix (SAM). Support fee and fact-finding (cost and schedule) negotiations with the customer. Lead the development and maintenance of the contract‘s Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).  Assist and participate in risk management activities. Lead effort to produce accurate estimates to complete (ETC's) and thereby manpower and revenue forecasts in LN.

Provide inputs and analysis of the following:

Actuals Reporting and Certificates of Costs Incurred

Monthly Performance Summary Reports (Internal and External)

Monthly Revenue and Cash Flow Forecasts and variance reporting

Monthly Assessments (for gross margin development and transaction pricing)

Yearly SRED and Program Assessment Model (PAMs) 

Responsible for ensuring the development and approval of PP&C and contract deliverables and tracking the status of all contract deliverables. Manage the timely approval of task orders, amendments and closures in PLM and monitor available funding. Monitor end date expiries of task orders and extend if required Submit and verify claims with claim backup and track payment status. Support the development of Customer Reports as required, which may include; monthly cost and schedule reports, PAYE estimates. Update L&SE Contract modules for contract amendments, instalments and transaction pricing.  Protect company Background Intellectual Property and disclose Foreground Intellectual Property.
