The Occupational Therapist provides an advanced level of technical skill, evaluating and treating patients within the outpatient pediatrics unit. The Occupational Therapist coordinates the daily operations; including consultation, teaching, quality assurance, staff mentoring, and scheduling of patients. Provides direct PT evaluations and treatments, sets appropriate goals and makes discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice. Supervises PTAs and rehabilitation technicians. Instructs OT interns and other students as indicated.

Qualifications:

* Graduate of an accredited school.

* Current D.C. license, or qualified candidate for DC license as an Occupational Therapist (license must be obtained within six months of hire).

* OT experience preferred.

* Current CPR certification.
