\nGeneral Summary of Position:

\n\n

Manages and provides operational leadership for the efficient operations, quality improvement, and financial objectives for the Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, and Radiology Support sections of theRadiology Department. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Master's degree in Business or Health Care Administration ora graduate of AMA approved school of radiation science or related field with master's degree in health care or relate field.
  • \n\t
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience as a technologist with at least two years of supervisory experienceorother supervisory experience in healthcare related activities preferred.
  • \n\t
  • Must have a working knowledge of budget preparation and control; planning and implementing new programs and services; computer systems; management practices and superior interpersonal skills to communicate at all level of the organization.
  • \n\t
  • Must be able to learn principles/procedures associated with the use angiographic equipment, hemodynamic monitoring and identification of ischemic changes during procedures.
  • \n\t
  • Must be able to act quickly, independently and remain calm in stressful and emergency situations.
