Job Summary
The Director, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) will direct the design and implementation of Molina's strategic company-wide D&I strategies, programs, and initiatives. This position will also be responsible for tracking and reporting D&I metrics and progress. Works cross-functionally within Human Resources and with senior leaders across the organization to support D&I objectives to help grow the company, create a diverse and inclusive workplace that attracts and retains a diverse population.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
•Strategy and Change management: Lead enterprise efforts to define a clear D&I vision. Lead enterprise-level D&I strategy and priorities. Execute D&I strategy at Molina and influence decisions related to D&I with subject matter expertise, data and recommendations. Stand up Employee Resource Groups structure within Molina to address companywide and local needs.
•D&I Consulting: Act as a consultant to leaders on their D&I strategies within each business/function or Health Plan. Help identify ways to translate the strategies and priorities in the context of the business or Health Plan objectives to drive business performance. Recognize and respond to regional, local and remote employee's diversity needs, issues and initiatives. Support resolution of individual or group conflicts that may arise from inclusion or diversity matters including the development and delivery of impactful interventions.
•Communication: Develop communication strategy and key messages to tell Molina's D&I story internally and externally. Design and produce communication deliverables, partnering with Communications. Represent Molina externally in matters related to D&I. Be a strong voice for inclusion and diversity at Molina across multiple stakeholders partnering effectively and regularly with aligned internal partners.
•HR Processes and Practices: Partner closely with HR functional leaders to identify opportunities to integrate concepts of diversity and inclusion into existing programs, policies and practices in areas such as hiring, learning, compensation, performance management. Partner with Legal and HR on matters pertaining to diversity compliance and reporting. Recommends improvements in recruitment and employee programs to ensure compliance with diversity/EEO goals and regulations.
•Data Analytics, Insights: Establish annual D&I metrics and executive dashboard metrics to align and measure progress. Drive leadership awareness and accountability for progress.
•Best Practice and External Research: Build leader and HR understanding of D&I and best practices. Continually scan the market for evolving thinking, strategy and programs across industries and geographies. Identify and build relationships with industry leaders, consultants & partners to apply best practices.
•Compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, laws, and regulations. Compiling and reporting diversity statistics to employees, top management, and public/government agencies. Monitors compliance efforts and partners with HR colleagues to investigate and address employee grievances
•Education and Awareness Training: Partner with internal and external resources to craft, implement and facilitate D&I education, workshops, experiences and discussions to improve cultural awareness, increase inclusivity and understanding of inclusion and diversity topics.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Required Experience
•12+ years' experience in Human Resources or Talent Management that includes designing, implementing and measuring diversity and inclusion programs
•Skilled in translating external and internal trends into innovative and creative practices
•Experience with project management, strategic operations, strategy consulting, and designing data-driven diversity program strategies
•Experience with research and data analysis
•Demonstrated ability to influence, design, implement and execute programs
•Ability to advise the organization in best in class D&I practices
•Ability to link DEI into company objectives, including making a business case for systemic investments
•Experience liaising with HR driving diversity results- specifically in diversity recruiting, diverse talent management, advancement and retention programs
•Strong interpersonal communication, consulting, facilitation, influencing, conflict management and people leadership
•Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
•Experience developing and delivering presentations for all levels
•Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
•Effective coach, facilitator and consultant
•Ability to influence and affect organizational change.
