Mondelez International – Naperville is a manufacturer of crackers. A variety of cracker products are produced, unitized, and stored here for shipment to various distribution centers and customers throughout the United States.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB


Essential duties of the Tool Crib Attendant may include but are not limited to the following:


• Receive maintenance, repair and other (MRO and non-MRO) items utilizing material management systems including SAP and perform central goods receiving in SAP

• Perform accurate cycle counts and post adjustments timely, maintain accurate inventory records and valid information in the SAP system.

• Receive, issue, and maintain material accurately according to the standard operating procedures.

• Ensure inventory balances are accurate.

• Continue to keep all stockrooms clean and organized to 5S standards

• Initiate follow-up needed for outstanding open and backordered purchase order items.

• Ensure open purchase order list is clear of open purchase orders greater than one week past due unless notified by vendor of an exception.

• Identify MRO and non-MRO items as stock or non-stock and maintain proper MRP parameters to ensure proper reorder of items.

• Issue maintenance items against work orders for craftsmen, operators, & ES.

• Ensure and maintain that proper shipping procedures are followed when items are removed from the building.

• Evaluate MRO purchase requisitions for proper order quantities and business needs.

• Be available in the storeroom at all times unless on break or retrieving or storing materials in other stores locations (Cold Rooms, Motor Room, & Oil Room)

• Work on the kitting of parts for assigned jobs

• Working to create parts, delete parts, change locations for tool crib

• Other Duties as assigned


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB


• Identify maintenance items as stock or non-stock to ensure proper reorder of items.

• Organized and detail orientated

• Strong communication skills

• Know and understand DOT requirements through training and knowledge of processes.

• Initiate the purchase order process for emergency MRO items.

• Operate lift truck and walk-behind hand truck.

• KPI report development

• Know and follow maintenance, repair and other (MRO)

• Continue to keep all stockrooms clean and organized to 5S standards


REQUIRED HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT


• 8 hours work/day (unless otherwise noted)

• 40 hours work/week*

• 50 minutes for relief/lunch *Must be able to work over 40 hours in a work week and more than 8 hours in a day, including all required overtime.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


The following physical demands are necessary for the Tool Crib Attendant to perform daily duties:


• Must be able climb steps and ladders

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain balance

• Must be able to walk and bend A job function physical analysis is available upon request



Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


• Education

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience

• At least 2 years manufacturing experience

• Computer experience Certificates and Licenses

• None required
