The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking General Endocrinologists for its Long Island Sites!

The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidate will become part of a multi-specialty team in the heart of Long Island. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Position Description:
Serve a diverse population and live in a region with excellent school districts and easy access to Manhattan
Clinical Support staff: Nurses, medical assistants and Certified Diabetes Educators
EMR system: Allscripts/ Athena
Teaching and / or research welcome
Administrative duties in coordination with the Metabolic Disorders Service Line Administrator
Competitive salary and benefits offered including productivity bonuses, 4 weeks' of vacation, paid holidays, 5 days of paid CME time annually, medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage

Position Qualifications:
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
A system work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance driven health system
Experience with the various glucose monitoring systems and insulin delivery devices such as: continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pump therapy, and insulin pens

This multi-specialty group is main site in a brand new, state-of-the-art, 80,000 square foot ambulatory facility in Huntington.
