Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) has a great opportunity for a currently VT licensed LNA or EMT as a Clinical Patient Safety Observer. The CPSO provides direct patient observation in order to redirect unsafe patient behaviors in an inpatient setting. They also perform, within their scope of practice, basic activities related to the patient's safety, care and comfort. Examples include but not limited to, getting the patient dressed, feeding or helping to mobilize. All basic activities require the Clinical Patient Safety Observer to be within observation of the patient. The CPSO Float will report to the Nursing Supervisor at the beginning of a shift for their daily assignment. Float CPSOs will be trained on multiple units. Shifts may include working as an LNA on a unit when there are no observation patients.
Our knowledgeable and passionate LNA's are continuously learning and growing within their roles at NVRH thanks to our tuition reimbursement, loan repayment and scholarship programs.
NVRH is located in Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom, a region known for its unspoiled beauty and four season recreational activities. A not-for-profit independent hospital, NVRH provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services.
NVRH offers competitive wages, including shift differentials. NVRH has a robust benefits package, including student loan repayment, 401k with company match, free gym memberships, low cost prescriptions, and more.
