About the Team
The Retail Studio and Experience team lead retail Marketing for Tesco Mobile, that defines briefs and activates all brand and Direct Response (DR) campaigns within the Stores estate aimed at driving customers and prospects to love/choose/buy from us.
About the Role
The Lead for Retail Studio and Experience leads all retail marketing team for the business that defines, briefs and activates all Brand and Direct Response (DR) campaigns within the Stores estate aimed at driving customers and prospects to love/choose/buy from us.
Retail Marketing Strategy Development: Work with a range of stakeholders inside and beyond Tesco Mobile to clarify the go-forward retail marketing strategy. This will be based on rich insight about Consumer mobile shopping missions and inject an appropriate level of innovation to future-proof existing activities and also drive stronger conversion outcomes via the right test and learn framework/programme.
Retail Campaign Planning & Management: Incept and build high quality retail campaign briefs that are brilliantly simple and clear for both internal stakeholders and external agencies to interrogate and work with as the bedrock of brilliant campaign output. Participate in a classical milestone campaign development process (brief, concepting etc) to efficiently deliver campaigns to Stores on time and to high levels of quality. Develop and new test and learn programme for Retail that drives enhanced conversion outcomes and challenges existing ways of working.
Stores Operational Alignment & Support: Work with a range of Tesco stakeholders to leverage key points of alignment (e.g. 100 years of Tesco) for maximum, combined impact. Continue to support and streamline Mobile Stores level operational queries to enable the team to spend the maximum amount of time on producing amazing quality work/output and really innovate the Mobile stores experience.
Key Skills and Experience
- Exposure to Telco/subscription-based business models desirable
- Prior experience in retail marketing (gained either client or agency side)
- Experience in a mix of brands or range of retailers desirable
- Experience in both Brand & DR desirable
- Open to candidates with a mix, but not all of above
