This short-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. Requirements

- High School Diploma required, A.S. Degree in healthcare/related field preferred - Skills in multi-line phone systems preferred - You will be a top applicant if you have experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system, as well as social media platforms - General understanding of medical terminology - Incoming phone call management skills required - 1+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - Background working with medical claims - Demonstrated knowledge of insurance referrals and verifications - Medical terminology experience preferred - Practical knowledge of HIPAA compliance patient privacy rules - General familiarity with explanation of benefits (EOB's) - Adeptness in authorizations - Comprehensive knowledge of MS Outlook - Customer service experience - Switchboard phone (1-10 lines) experience - Good understanding of self-pay collections - Medical billing experience highly preferred - Electronic medical records experience - Earlier work involving ophthalmology ***All candidates must undergo background check, drug screening, and verification of previous employment.***
