Charismatic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionists in the Insurance - Health industry might be interested in this job at a company working with OfficeTeam. Provide customer service over the phone and in-person in this Medical Receptionist role as the director of first impressions. Candidates for this Medical Receptionist position should keep in mind that we are looking for a self-starter who finds value working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while providing support and solutions to patients, healthcare professionals, insurance providers, etc. This short-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Mountlake Terrace, Washington area. How you will make an impact - Responding to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner while efficiently answering phone calls within a minimum number of rings - Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations - Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures - Order-keeping various files and providing general office duties, e.g. faxing, scanning, data entry, etc. - Assisting patients with paperwork - Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner - Helping out in the management of patient medical records - Ensuring the waiting and reception areas are kept neat and clean; reporting on any damage - Recording patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

Requirements

- You can succeed in this position if you have experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system, as well as social media platforms - Comprehension of medical terminology and insurance products - Prior experience with multi-line phone systems preferred - Customer service experience - Part-Time Receptionist experience Email : becky.yoder@officeteam.com - Switchboard phone (1-10 lines) experience preferred - Experience with Administrative Assistance - Receptionist Duties experience - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - High School Diploma required, A.S.
