Performs a variety of functions related to processing incomplete medical records, including, but not limited to: chart preparation, scanning, indexing into the document imaging system, birth certificate processing, chart retrieval, release of information, chart deficiency analysis, physician suspension, transcription support and master patient index functions. May perform other duties as assigned by manager, supervisor or director.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE High school diploma or equivalent Good communication skills, written and verbal. Computer experience, problem-solving skills, good multi-tasking skills and medical terminology knowledge. six months to one year previous experience in health information management in a medical setting.
