General Summary:

A Senior Business Systems Analyst oversees the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the stakeholders' needs and preferences. Their main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items and determining which features each product will have according to stakeholders' preferences.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate with users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Works well with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including data analytics, design/user experience, engineering and user enablement
• Define the vision and return on investment for the team's products
• Create a product road map based on defined vision
• Manage the product backlog and prioritize them based on changing requirements and business value
• Manage project tracking system updates and map out project dependencies
• Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
• Develop user stories
• Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
• Liaison between the product team and end-users to deliver updates
• Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprint
• Evaluate and present creative ideas for improving current processes

Required

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in business analysis
• Knowledge of SDLC and how it pertains to software releases
• Experience in direct support of business organizations
• Analytic and logical thinking

·         Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

• Must work well in a team environment
• Must be able to learn independently
• Knowledge of flow charts including both business and system flows and of programming logic and code
• MS Office and knowledge of diagraming tools, such as Visio, Gliffy, and Balsamiq

Desired

·         CBAP Certification - (Certified Business Analyst Professional)

·         CCBA Certification - (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis)

·         ITIL Certification

·         Master's degree

·         Minor in Information Systems

Compensation Range

$105,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually, pay will be based upon applicable experience, training and skills

Bonus

This job is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on individual goal achievement.
