New Business Case Manager/Coordinator
Pacific Life in Bloomington, MN is seeking a talented life insurance new business case manager. In this position you will ensure that life insurance applications go through the new business and underwriting process from submission to payment in a timely manner. You will facilitate and resolve problems and issues that arise during the application process. You will work closely with the Pacific Life sales team and independent financial professionals, provide regular status updates, and respond to questions regarding case status. You may train financial professionals and their office personnel on Pacific Life forms, processes, and procedures. You may also perform a variety of support functions including answering phones, preparing case status reports, and various administrative tasks as needed.

An aptitude for research and a discerning eye. You can spot a mistake and do whatever you can to fix it. If something doesn't look right, you will ask, “Why not, and what can I do to make it right?”

A skilled and confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills, who is adept at building relationships and keeping the customer in focus.
An action- oriented person whose organizational skills keep you on track but whose flexibility allows you to adapt to changing and challenging situations.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to pivot and change focus with shifting priorities
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Knowledge of insurance products and industry through 1-3 years experience in the insurance industry is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills to keep track of details and not let things fall into the cracks.
Proficient in the use of personal computers and software (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
