Description

Currently, we are seeking a talented Desktop Support Specialist to join the Retirement Solutions Division (RSD) based in Omaha, Nebraska. The Retirement Solutions Division leverages its strengths in product development, technology, services and risk management to create retirement solutions for individuals, families, and businesses. With the guidance of financial professionals, customers have access to an array of annuities and mutual funds designed to help grow assets and to provide retirement income for financial independence.

As a support technician for the Executive & External Sales Support team in the Omaha office the individual is expected to perform desktop support duties using individual judgment and initiative with minimum supervision and direction. The individual will respond to potential or identified desktop, laptop, application and mobile device failures and resolves outages, performance problems, or integrity problems of routine and moderate complexity using standard procedures and established guidelines.

Additionally, the individual is expected to:

•Keep accurate and professional case notes for effective collaboration and future reference in the case management system.
•Work with internal and external technical teams to support computer systems, data networks, voice technology, and mobile devices.
•Contribute to keeping the knowledge base current, and search results effective.
•Deploy desktop and mobile device hardware and software using standard procedures and established guidelines.
•Provide hands-on desktop support for senior leadership in their office location or use remote tools for those in remote locations.
•Use relevant administrative consoles and tools with fluency to support and troubleshoot (e.g. Citrix Director Console, SCCM, RSA console, AD, AirWatch).
•Create procedures, and documentation both for end user guides and cross training team members.
•Provide innovative recommendations, based on industry best practices, professional experience, and new technologies.
