Head of Digital Communications
At Pacific Global Asset Management, we take pride in helping investors cut through market noise and make the best choice for investment success. To further our mission, Pacific Global Asset Management is searching for a Head of Digital Communications (marketing and internal/external communications). This new role supports a critical priority for our organization and requires a forward-thinking team player who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; has excellent communications skills (including social media); and has the expertise and creativity to use all facets of digital communications to promote Pacific Global Asset Management and its affiliated brands internally and externally and help attract and retain clients.

As the Head of Digital Communications, you will ultimately build a team (internally and externally) of writers, designers, videographers and other storytellers who breathe life into campaigns, educate audiences and articulate positions on industry trends. At the core, you are a person who possesses the ability to distill the spectrum of digital marketing technologies—including social media, websites and email campaigns—into relatable concepts that resonate with target audiences. You'll also need to adopt those concepts for the financial media, bloggers and internal audiences.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with relevant stakeholders across Pacific Global Asset Management—including senior management, sales, distribution, other marketing, and communications teams, and clients—to develop and execute digital communications strategies that promote Pacific Global Asset Management and its affiliated brands to help attract and retain clients.

  • Build and lead a team in the execution of those strategies.

  • Oversee internal and external communications, including thought-leadership pieces, market analyses, midyear and end-year reports, and press releases.

  • Manage the integration of digital communications activities across business lines and communication channels in line with corporate and divisional goals.

  • Foster a positive working environment that generates team building, creative thinking and career development.

  • Effectively prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.

  • Serve as a thought leader on digital marketing to senior leaders and others.

  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, and industry developments specific to the business area.

  • Conduct research to understand client needs and consult internally to convey findings and make recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Present multichannel marketing measurement results to senior management on a regular basis and provide written and verbal communication to internal audiences on status of marketing efforts.


What it takes:

  • A bachelor's degree; a finance-related master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience, preferably in financial services.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital communications and marketing tools (i.e., social media, web and mobile platforms, data analytics, etc.).

  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to take complex subject matter and distill it into accessible copy.

  • The ability to direct, align, inform and influence senior leaders and others to execute a digital communications strategy.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Superior interpersonal and team-building communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Adobe AEM, Salesforce CRM, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience in delivering cross-departmental projects, strong project management and leadership.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

  • Identifying areas for self-improvement and bringing suggestions and solutions to management.

  • Attending networking events, seminars and conferences, including outside of work hours, as required to maintain personal professional development and to build business contacts.
