Uses consultative sales skills to proactively market Annuities & Mutual Funds to existing and potential Registered Representatives, including prospecting, cross selling, relationship building and obtaining sales commitments to meet territory sales goals. Uses understanding of sales initiatives and sales ideas to work in a partnership with Field Wholesaler(s) to keep market share and raise assets in the region(s.) Provides support to team members within channel and department.
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
•FINRA Series 6/7 and 63 License Required
•Strong investment background, preferably in Annuities and/or Mutual Funds
•Undergraduate degree in Finance, or equivalent Financial Industry experience
•Minimum 2 years experience in a Financial Services environment
•Previous Financial sales/marketing experience preferred
•Effective verbal communication skills to educate and influence sales
•Computer proficient in Excel and MS Word
•Life Insurance and Variable Products license preferred
