Currently we are seeking a talented Salesforce Service Scrum Master to be a part of the Pacific Life Next Generation Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform Center of Excellence (CoE). This transformational team is helping to redefine how customer relationships and data are managed on a single platform for Pacific Life's retail businesses across marketing, sales, and service utilizing tools from Salesforce. The CRM CoE is rooted in an agile based project management environment with iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Capabilities are being deployed in a series of foundational phases with the CoE responsible for ongoing operations support, governance, and managing the program back log and capability enhancements.
POSITION SUMMARY: Candidates should possess strong conflict resolution skills, while being able to focus on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect. Needs to be expert in estimation and planning. Should be a good coach in Agile practices. Helps team to clarify goals and actions to achieve them. • The Salesforce Service Scrum Master is the day-to-day facilitator of the Service Scrum Team. • Manage developer bandwidth and sprint velocity in concert with the Service Product Owner to ensure delivery of functionality. • Removes impediments in the Scrum Team. • Responsible for facilitating daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations and retrospective meetings.
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS: • 5+ years of experience in agile and immersed in technology delivery. • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. • Knowledge of Agile techniques, including user stories, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, etc. • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures, including iterative and incremental development. • Working toward the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) certifications. • Salesforce certifications preferred and/or prior experience with Salesforce systems integration work. • Salesforce Service Cloud experience preferred. • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud a plus. • Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio & PowerPoint • JIRA experience a plus. • Able to work independently in a rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. • Requires strong analytical, research, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills. • Strong project management skills, including influencing skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables efficiently. • Excellent communicator and presenter with proven success in developing client relationships and managing client expectations. • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at all levels. • Ability to anticipate, identify and overcome impediments to project success. • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
