Position Summary

The project controls role involves working with multiple stakeholders to prepare, update, and review design and construction schedules in Primavera P6 and forecast and update cost projections. The qualified candidate will review change orders prepared by contractors and which may involve cost and time adjustments and gather schedule and cost project information and related owner tasks to translate the data to accurately reflect overall progress on the projects. Additional responsibilities include tracking and updating project cost information.

Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
    • 10-15 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Experience in collaborating and resolving project issues and working independently with minimal direction required.
    • Experience with project schedule data export, databases, and customized reporting required.
    • Experience with wastewater treatment and/or K-12 school experience preferred.
    • Hands-on scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6 required.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform schedule reviews and ensure effective and efficient best practices for scheduling required.
    • Experience with presenting work products and facilitating work sessions preferred.
Additional Requirements
 
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
 
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
